Striving for a Decent Life

Yesterday, in the hall of the Sughd Regional Council of Trade Unions, a festive event was held dedicated to Doctors’ Professional Day and the September 1st Trade Union Day of Action for Peace. The event brought together trade union activists and heads of regional healthcare institutions.

     The Presidium of the Sughd Regional Council of Trade Unions sincerely congratulates Bivolida Samadi, Head of the Administration of the Governor of Sughd Region, on being awarded the State Order of “Sharaf” (Honor). We wish the esteemed teacher good health, prosperity, and further success in her professional endeavors.

Today, on August 23, a collective community clean-up was held with the aim of beautifying and maintaining cleanliness of the Trade Union building and the central boulevard of Khujand named after Ismoili Somoni. Employees of the Regional Trade Unions actively participated and made their contribution to the improvement of the city.

Yesterday, in anticipation of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan and the professional holiday “Railway Workers’ Day,” a contest titled “Iron-Willed Girls” was held in the hall of the State Unitary Enterprise “Railway of Tajikistan” in Sughd Region.

In August of this year, with the support of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan, a sports and wellness camp “Pahlavon” was organized in Kuhistoni Mastchoh District for 40 talented students and young athletes.

On August 20, an instructional and consultative seminar was held in the hall of the Sughd Regional Council of Trade Unions with the participation of over 35 heads of trade union organizations, chief accountants, HR inspectors, and heads of occupational safety services of organizations in the fields of culture, trade, and construction.

The Administration of the Trade Unions Council of Sughd Region extends its heartfelt congratulations to all doctors and healthcare workers on their professional holiday — Medical Workers’ Day. We wish them happiness, prosperity, well-being, and success in their honorable and proud work.

     This morning, on August 16, with the participation of employees of the Trade Unions of Sughd Region, a collective Saturday clean-up was held.
