Matters under monitoring

     A working meeting was held this morning in the conference hall of the Sughd Regional Council of Trade Unions under the leadership of Sharifullo Abdullozoda, Chairperson of the Sughd Regional Council of Trade Unions.

     The meeting was attended by the heads of sectoral trade union committees and responsible staff members of the Council.

     The meeting addressed a number of issues related to ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Minutes of the Meeting of the Presidium of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated July 22, 2025, No. 6, and the Minutes of the Meeting of the Presidium of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated April 23, 2026, No. 3. The participants also discussed the implementation of the “1C:Accounting” software, streamlining accounting procedures, outstanding wage payments, ensuring the implementation of decisions of the General Council of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan, as well as other matters related to the statutory activities of trade unions.

     Particular attention was paid to strengthening oversight and accountability among the heads of sectoral trade union committees, ensuring compliance with deadlines for carrying out assigned tasks, improving accounting procedures, and making effective use of the capabilities of the “1C:Accounting” software.

     At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairperson of the Council drew attention to the existing shortcomings and instructed the responsible officials to take prompt measures to address them. He also tasked them with ensuring the full and timely implementation of decisions, instructions and directives issued by the leadership of the Federation and the Council, as well as taking the necessary measures to improve the performance indicators of the sectoral trade union committees.
